For a 15m² single garage: asbestos-cement roof removal and a pitched steel-sheet replacement. We confirm the roof dimensions and supporting structure before agreeing the work.
Not removal-only prices. Both options include the agreed asbestos roof removal, transport and authorised disposal, plus the supply and fitting of the replacement steel roof. The written quote will identify the roof system, included trims and fixings, and any separately priced work. Larger roofs need an individual quote. Structural repairs, insulation and unquoted building works are not included. We do not replace guttering, fascias or downpipes. We assess the existing structure and drainage before confirming the roof-replacement scope.

A replacement roof—not a replacement garage
This service is for owners who want to retain a suitable garage and replace its roof covering. We assess the existing walls and support structure before confirming that approach.
We do not assume an old frame is sound. If repairs or a different scope are needed, these must be explained and agreed before additional work. A new garage, door, base, electrics, insulation and unquoted building works are not automatically included.
We handle asbestos-cement roof work assessed as suitable for non-licensed removal. If the material or condition is outside that scope, we will explain that before accepting the job.

20-year water-ingress guarantee
JS Removals Services Limited guarantees the replacement steel roof we supply and install against water ingress caused by defects in its materials or our installation for 20 years from completion.
What we will do: If a covered defect causes a leak, we will inspect it and repair or replace the affected roof components at no charge for the covered materials and labour. This covers the new roof sheets and the flashings, fixings and weatherproof joints included in our installation.
What is outside this guarantee: Unrelated existing walls, frames or structures; damage caused by accidents, external impact or storm damage rather than a defect in our roof; unauthorised alterations or damage by others; blocked drainage or failure to follow the written care instructions. Condensation is not water ingress and is excluded unless caused by a defect in a condensation-control component that we supplied and fitted. These exclusions do not remove cover for a defect in our materials or installation.
How to claim: Contact hello@jsremovals.co.uk with your job address, completion date or invoice reference, a description and safe photographs if available. Do not climb onto the roof. We will arrange a safe assessment and explain the remedy for a valid claim.

Do the prices include asbestos removal and the new roof?
Yes. For a 15m² single garage, the flat-roof price is £2,394 including VAT (£1,995 + VAT), and the pitched-roof price is £2,994 including VAT (£2,495 + VAT). Both cover the agreed asbestos-cement roof removal and disposal plus steel-sheet replacement. We confirm suitability, specification and any extras before booking.
Who fits the replacement roof?
Our own employed team carries out the replacement work. You arrange the agreed removal and replacement through JS Removals.
What type of roof will replace the asbestos?
A steel-sheet roof with anti-condensation backing as standard. The exact sheet profile, finish, support requirements and accessories are confirmed in your written quote, rather than assumed from an illustration. Backing is not roof insulation or a promise that condensation can never occur.
Can you replace a larger or double-garage roof?
Send its approximate dimensions, postcode and safe photographs. The displayed prices are based on a 15m² single garage; other sizes need an individual quote.
Will my garage walls and frame stay?
That is the intention where the existing structure is suitable. We assess its condition and make clear what remains, what needs replacing and whether any repairs are needed before agreeing the scope.
Can you promise completion in one day?
We confirm the expected schedule after assessing your garage. Roof size, condition, access, weather and any structural work can affect timing, so we do not make a blanket one-day promise.
What information do you need for a quote?

What if I only need removal or the whole garage dismantled?
