A – You can see on our price list above has examples of property types. This list will help gauge the service level and approximate cost from a single room flat to an entire house move. Unfortunately, due to the current COVID19 pandemic, we can’t do a home visit to give a comprehensive quote as we have restricted movements to stop the spread. A – To get an up-to-date answer to this question, please email or call us with dates you have in mind. We never take provisional bookings – all our bookings are confirmed with a £250 deposit, ensuring that all bookings scheduled are confirmed. This gives us a clear view of our calendar and availability.
Q – How much can fit in your van?
A – We have 12 vans in our fleet of various sizes, the most popular being our 3.5-ton Luton box vans with internal loading dimensions of approximately 4000mm (long) x 2200mm (wide) x 2200mm (high) and a weight capacity of 1000kg – 1200kg. This model also comes with a 500kg tail lift for heavy or delicate items. As we offer a time-based rather than load-based service, on rare occasions everything won’t fit, we can do more than one run. However, we are confident we will have a van in our fleet to suit your requirements, so get in touch with your required dates to ensure the best van is available for your home move.
Q – How can I pay the deposit to confirm my booking?
A – The £250 deposit can be sent by bank transfer to confirm a booking. Please note this is non-refundable as it holds a van and our crew for your chosen day. The balance agreed for the job is due for payment after the job is complete, and we request that too is made via bank transfer.
